Today is Staples first birthday. I am filled with joy, astonished that a year can pass by so fast, and sad that my little baby is growing into a toddler. Isabel Staples Brock has enriched our lives more than we could've ever imagined. She is truly a blessing and we thank the Lord a million times over for her.
A few facts about our ONE year old. She loves to eat "table food" and no longer wants any baby food from the jar. Chicken, rice, pasta, mangos, are a few of her favorites. She still nurses four times a day, and had her first taste of whole milk today. Staples like to cuddle her stuffed animals now and wants Trev and I to give them kisses all the time. She loves to play with my shoes and rearranges my closet daily. She is taking about five steps on her own at a time, and loves to push her pink baby stroller everywhere! One of my favorite new things that she does is pretend to be "scared" when her daddy is holding her and throws her arms around his neck when she sees Gus (our mounted deer).
